Exodus is a murder mystery with an unforgettable woman we know as Clare.  From the beginning of the book she is placed in harm’s way as her way of life is shattered, and she goes on the run for her life.  The book keeps you on the edge of suspense and the pages turning.  Kate McGinn also knows when to allow you to take a breath of air before you’re surprised with another clue.  You never know who to trust, and you won’t figure out who’s behind the murders until the author unfolds the plot.  A book that is hard to put down.  Never a dull moment and a pace that will make you lose sleep.  I highly recommend it.

Exodus is an action-packed and heartwarming story about a nurse who finds herself in the midst of a conflict between her late father and the enemies he’d made in his line of work.  Clare Thibodeaux is a brave headstrong young heroine with a caring heart.  I loved every minute of her story and am looking forward to reading book two.  Five stars for sure!

Kate McGinn’s debut novel Exodus had me gripped all the way through.  From the dramatic opening as Clare flees from her home, through to the unexpected ending (no spoilers) this book kept me entertained.  I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

This book was riveting for me.  The characters were complex, relatable human beings.  I was able to empathize with the challenges they faced.  The setting descriptions and locations actually took me into the story even more.  I highly recommend this book to any reader who enjoys getting lost in the characters and events in their lives.  It was challenging to put down!  I anxiously await the second in this series!

I loved this book! The connection to the characters was profound for me. The adrenaline built up as Claire faced challenges only a strong, determined woman could surmount. This is riveting and will keep you on the edge of your chair. I can hardly wait for book III!

Book two brings Clare’s exodus to a whole new level as she moves on from her past and heads into an uncertain future. Clare and Wyatt struggle to hold their relationship together as multiple hardships are thrown their way. Women are going missing and the FBI always seems to be one step behind the criminal mastermind responsible. The list of suspects keeps growing and Clare doesn’t know who she can turn to anymore. The suspense in this book is really well done. It’s a blend of action-romance with a bit of horror thrown in – all in all, a perfectly entertaining sequel

This is the 2nd book I have read of Kate McGinn’s and I love them! I cannot wait for the third book. Please don’t keep me hanging!
